About the Archive:

The Rosa Parks Archive is a remarkable body of material owned by Mrs. Parks at the time of her death. The Archive includes thousands of items - ranging from Mrs. Parks' schoolbooks to her Congressional Gold Medal.

Guernsey's has been selected by the Michigan courts to place this most important Archive in a suitable institution. Proceeds from the Archive's sale will be divided between the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development and Mr. Parks' family.

An inventory detailing the items contained in this historic Archive is available in printed form. Museums, universities or other institutions who wish to learn more about the Archive should contact Guernsey's at 212-794-2280.
