After 92 years, the Titanic will make it to New York. An unprecedented auction of items relating to the Titanic, White Star Lines, and other famous ships will be offered. These vetted, glorious collections are without peer and tell the tragic story of, arguably, the most famous ship. Care is being taken to ensure that none of the Titanic items are the result of modern salvage operations.
The auction will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at New York Citys historic South Street Seaport Museum, within sight of the Titanic Memorial Lighthouse (see map). Below is a schedule of the important dates and items.
A beautiful soft-bound catalogue has been produced for the Titanic and Other Historic Ocean Liners Auction. This fully illustrated book contains the more than 450 lots of the auction all photographed and described in full-color. Securely order your copy here.
