Private Sales

Occasionally, Guernsey's has the opportunity to sell special objects by private treaty (i.e., a private sale outside the auction process.) Such was the case when Guernsey's – preparing for an auction of historic documents relating to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt – sold the Collection intact to a single buyer long before the auction was to be held. As this is being written, Guernsey's has had consigned to it a number of extraordinary properties including the complete Muhammad Ali Training Camp.
